New Features at the Swag

The regular season is over, so I removed the scoreboard. It may make a resurgence as we start to blog about Football and (ugh...) Baseball. But for now let's make room for our new Tag Board, brought to you by CBox. It's pretty tight; kind of like an even quicker more visible, less relevant and completely unnecessary version of the comments section (which, by the way, is still there). AND I might add we haven't seen nearly as much commenting as we'd like to, so why don't we all make an effort? So in review: comment ya jerks, but in lieu of that, at least drop some soul on our tag board.

Lucky Bastard

Unbelievable. This dude is already lucky enough to be a major league baseball player, which means he's rich, and gets to play a game he (inexplicably) loves, and I've never even heard of him. Matt White's only pitched in 7 games in 9 seasons, which is undeniably lame. But he also just discovered that a rock quarry he bought off his aunt for $50,000 is worth over 2 billion dollars. Read the whole article from Yahoo! News:

Lucky Son of a Bitch Hits the Big Time

The article doesn't explore the two things I really care about, though:
1) Is this guy gonna sack up and buy the Seattle Supersonics or what?
2) It says he bought the thing off his auntie as a "favor" to her. So what kind of cut is she gonna see from the billions he made off that favor?
